The trip to Paros
On the 25th of January in Thessaloniki, the purchase of our new boat Capelli Tempest 1000 took place.
On the same day at 13.00 and after filling the fuel tank in Nea Michaniona – Thessaloniki we set our route to Paros. With an intermediate stop for refueling in Skiathos island.
The weather conditions were bad since the wind speed varied between 5 and 6 Beauforts with gusts up to 7 bft with the advantage that the wind direction was behind us. After 12 hours of traveling and a distance of 278 miles we arrived at the island of Paros at 01.00.
Dispate the difficulties we faced, the trip became a sweet memory right after the hot bath that followed at home. The trip took place on my 50th birthday with my wife Iro by my side.
